Parking brake question
Hope this does not sound too dumb, but where is the drum for the rear parking brakes? Have not pulled off wheel to inspect, but don't remember seeing the drum last time I had the wheel off.

Re: Parking brake question (Larry82)
They are small drum type brakes so you would not see. Pic. w/ drum removed in this topic. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=226647

Re: Parking brake question (Ganey)
That is actually the picture that peaked my interest.
Months ago I had new calipers, rotors and pads replaced all around, and parking brake adjusted. Since then I have had a brake squeek (loud at times) when stopping. For years I never used the parking brake and, just recently, started applying it when parked. Squeek is greatly diminished. Wonder if something wrong with parking brakes, but did not remember seeing the drum when wheels were off. Wonder if parking brake adjusted too tight and applying the brake is "stretching" cable or something.
