How can I find out what my 79's original paint color was?

Looking for a website, specifically-or anyone with any info would be great

Looks like my paint is bubbling up-the car isn't a true black after all-we're not sure what it could be :rolleyes:

Their should be a metal plate rivited to the inside of the drivers side door jam. That will have the paint color and interior color codes. Post them here and we will let you know what the codes stand for......

I went and bought the corvette black book last night-the car's original color was metallic blue. Dark.
