painted my motor electronblue(pics)
just got a new digital camera for my birthday today so i took some pics to see how it is..this is my spare shortblock for the car..got it for free 4 hours on it motor was spotless...flat top hyper. pistons too...so i painted it the same color of the car.

thats my workbench at work..you see what i do all day at work huh?work on my own stuff..and ed no more driving for the wife its off limits.

Lookin good pats406nitrovette and Stingy74. Both those colors are awesome, plus they match your cars. I planning on painting my engine soon, but not the color of my car. Wouldn't look to good I don't think. Ever see a beige engine? :U

i used the urethane base i had that i sprayed car with and use high heat clear over it.....ive done it before and it held up very well. sikkens electronblue yours looks great in yellow.very bright :cheers:

Stingy, did you sand your block down and smooth it out before painting? It looks like you did a lot of prep work. If so, how did you prep the block?

OH SURE.. tempt me with electron blue further... :jester Of all the blue colors out there.. Electron is my favorite. From the day you posted pics of your freshly painted car, I've loved that color. :yesnod: Nice job on the block too... Hey, is Electron available in a house paint? :jester :jester

That's cool. Can't see painting my engine Buckskin, though... :rolleyes:
