That's pretty interesting....it's nice to see that two of those beauties have some potential. The picture (IMO) is very sad :( .

hey, i wouldn't mind having that racer outside the fence myself! :chevy been looking for a shell to make into a racer, just seems like most sellers think their box of corvette parts are worth as much as the finished product!

Sad...but still, that's so cool to see guys rescuing these cars! I hope they keep the web site current, it'll be very cool to see how these projects turn out.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on any of them, they have to have good parts on them, you would have to be able to make a couple of complete vettes out of all of those parts cars.

I agree. I can just imagine all the parts in there that I could use. ESPECIALLY off that black 79 with the spoilers. I've wanted spoilers for some time now (ever since seeing Rhys' 78 Pace Car). Also, my tail lights are cracked. And at $50 a piece, I bet I could find a set in there that could be cleaned up for less.

It's just like that earlier post about donating parts to other Vette owners. I wish THEY would donate parts instead of letting them sit there and rot. It is a shame. :(

The GOOD thing is, two of them are saved.

The blue one is a vinyl covered hardtop convertible. Oh man, what tragedy. Oh well, they all can`t be saved. :U

That's what I would call Corvette Hell
That is a sad pic, but I wouldn't mind having a few of them for parts. Lots of useful parts in there. Looks like mainly C3's, although I see what I think is a C4 hood?

For all of You, that haven't yet figuered out:

I've taken the pics out of the January issue of "Cars & Parts Corvette"-magazine. It shows "Elmer's Auto Parts" in Webster, New York. Look into that magazine for more pics and informations. There's a website from elmer's too:
http://www.elmersauto.com.

Probably there are some NY-guy amoung us (I could bet there are ...) who can make a visit at that salvage-yard and give us a reply what they have seen themselves?

Nasty greetings from Germany

Tripower

How come "Car and Parts" ships to Germany before me? :mad I haven't got that issue yet! :mad I would be like a kid in a candy store if I went to that bone yard. Sad at first.. but my shopping cart would be full and I'd be smiling when I left :D :D :D

Damn! Webster is only a few miles from here. I think Xracer works in Webster. Sunday is supposed to be a really nice day here. Perhaps we shall go on a field trip!
