Can someone let me know if I should worry about not blocking up or jacking my tranny to hold it in place while the engine is out. I have the car on jack stands and I have a jack under the car with slight pressure on the tanny to hold it while I have the engine out. I need to move the car outside to pressure wash the engine compartment and therefore will need to relieve the pressure on the tranny. I would think as long as the cross-member is in place I should be ok. Anybody else want to throw in their 2-cents.

Dont let it hang Put a 2by 4 or? across your fenders [use rags] the chain or wire your trans to it.
