I was wondering if anyone here is from good ole NC.I'm from Kenly which is about a hour from Raleigh.I spend most of my time in Smithfield were I work and were my girlfriend lives.I see some C3's around didn't know if it was someone people on this board.

Hello from Charlotte. I've been to Smithfield several times. Kind of far from Charlotte. If you go the regional events section (Southeast), there is a Poker Run sponsored by Corvette Only out of Greenville, SC in April. You will see a posting with Poker Run in the title started by USMuscle. Lots of C3s from the Carolinas will be attending.

Welcome to the sharktank! A good opportunity to meet quite a few of us is the Raleigh Dyno day at the end of February which you can follow here on the southeast forum. That's just the beginning since we get together at least a few times a month as the weather improves for cruise-ins, trips to the drags, dynos, car shows, etc. Do you have a C3 or are you looking for one?

I grew up in NC (graduated HS etc) but since then I have lived out of state. I have been trying to get back ever since. I may have my chance to live there at least for a while. I lost my job (lay-offs) last month and just sold my house here in Texas so I may "come home" to stay a while. My parents have rental property in Emerald Isle and my wife, two year old son and I will probally move there for a while unless a job comes up in the next few weeks. We close on our house Feb. 22nd. If I get a permament job in NC then I'll will be part of the C3 family in the greatest state in the good old USA.

I want to find a stingray minus motor so I can build something strong for it.I want to use a 4speed trans.I want to have one to fix up/restore.I plan to look for something that looks ruff neads paint so when I finish everyone will have to pick thier jaw up off the floor.:D
Its great to see so many c3 people here from NC.I would like to meet some people who could give me some help with my eventual stingray project.

Im from wilson, right down the road. I"ve had two c3's 68,69. I have a 66 427 coupe now. Mid years are my favorite but I like chrome bumper C'3s.

I grew up in Fayetteville but graduated from Apex HS in Apex outside of Cary. Any job in electronics is fine with me. I was in the semiconductor equipment service business working for Lam Research as a Field Service Engineer but with my background I think I can step into any type of electronic field. I also hold an Airframe and Powerplant Certificate and worked on aircraft for 10 years before I got into electronics. Anyone with any contacts please feel free to e-mail me........and thanks.
