UPDATED 377 Stroker engine Pictures!!!
Here are some pictures of my new 377 Stroker motor. I will update this topic daily as I take new pictures of the progress. Let me know what you guys think. In case anyone is wondering I am getting this engine build and transmission rebuild at McJacks Corvettes in Santa Ana, CA.
Here's a pic with the motor in my car. It's almost ready!!!!
Here's another pic of the motor and tranny in the car.
This picture shows the high performance torque convertor, chrome oil pan, and chrome transmission pan with the drain plug. Everything is mounted in and is almost finished. The car will be finished on Thursday. All that's left to do are to add the 2 chamber Flowmasters!!!!
Here are the mechanics removing my old motor
Here are my new World SR Heads
Here is the flywheel, 400 crank, and new chrome oil pan
Here is the new GM 4 bolt main, and new World Torquer Heads
And finally here is the camshaft, rockers, Pistons, Rings, Redline assembly lube, etc.
Here's an update of my motor!!!!
And the bottom of the motor!!!!
So what do you guys think? let me know...
Thanks
:D

Looking good osssmosis,
When is the motor going to be completed? No doubt it will be a blast to drive.

yes the crossfire will be going back in it for a while, but soon I will be converting to TPI. I don't think I can get too much extra performance out of the crossfire, so I'd rather invest the cash in a more modern system. Anyone know if I will have to upgrade my fuel pump to handle the extra horses of the motor?

Yeeeee haaaaaa ! Rock & Roll ! Love new engines, but hate that fear when getting ready to start for the first time (all that money & work, I hope nothing goes wrong). Just call me a putz  .

Re: Here are pics of my 377 Stroker engine!!! (81vette)
The heads are World SR Heads
here's the specs:
High density cast iron, manley street flo (1 pc forged, with undercut stems, and swirl polished heads, ring and band valve seals, valve springs, manley 7 chrome moly retainers and keepers, stainless steel valves 1.940 x 1.500, rocker arm studs 3/8 shank screw in style with hex shoulder w/ guideplates. The chamber is 76cc.
The cam is a CraneArms CompuCams Performance camshaft. I don't have the specs on hand, but I'll find out and post it here.

Re: Here are pics of my 377 Stroker engine!!! (Chris Fowler '80)
The bottom part of the motor has been completed. All that it needs now are the heads to be put in, then it can be started. I'm getting excited :D
By the way, anyone know where I can get some coil springs in the Los Angeles Area? My left front tire sinks a little lower than the right front tire, I checked underneath the car, and springs are worn. Please let me know...
Thanks
;)

To me that looks like a small journal crank and internally balanced and the block looks like a 350
What is the stroke?

Re: Here are pics of my 377 Stroker engine!!! (osssmosis)
Does anyone here have experience with getting TPI installed in their shark corvette?? how about electric cooling fans??

Re: Here are pics of my 377 Stroker engine!!! (osssmosis)
Why TPI and not an offy?
The electric cooling fan of the early C4 actually fits your stock shroud with minor mods. I did it too, even left the aux. fan in. I wired the fan so that it works w/ a temp switch in the thermostat housing, the ground is connected to the aux fan ground (BEFORE the switch, otherwise both fans come on at the same time.. too late)
I have pictures but the server is down so they may not appear. (therefore I made them links)

... and so on (I think it goes 'till shroud5, try it, not sure)
