Fwd restricted view !
Hi
This is what it looks like looking out from my 68 big block with a aftermarked long style L88 hood. View is very restrictive and it's a wonder, that I got it registered legally in this part of the world.
Blowers sticking out of the hood are as far as I know not allowed on the road, mainly because of the vision.
:mad
Can somebody driving one of this brutes, post a pic of the view ?
Thanks. Gunther

Hey, Intimidator
Saw your car already in previous posts.
Wow, have you installed a camera and drive with TV screen ? :D
I would love to drive that through our registration check up.
Post a pic from the inside out.

Re: Fwd restricted view ! (WESCH)
Gunther, if you want to get rid of the long hood throw me a mail!
I have a long smallblock hood for barter (79, I guess) Also I have a 69 hood, unfortunately with a monster snorkel scoop on it. :D
Ah, and also, I have lots of other parts available, bought an 68/ 69 body shell some time ago......

Re: Fwd restricted view ! (454Big)
Hi 454Big
Sorry, no, I will keep this hood at least an other year.
I previously bought a wiper door assembly and a short L88 hood is on the way from Huntsville and both will be installed next winter.
I just like the wiper door setup due to it's unique few years only design.
Thanks for the offer on your spare parts. Might come back to you on this.
On Sunday, I will drive to Schwalmtal near Mönchengladback to pick up a set of true wire spoke wheels with 235 rubbers. I got them through E-bay from the same gentleman, I got the 68 radio from.
Both, the radio and the wheels I got for a very good price.
I just hope the car looks as good with this rims as I think and hopefully, this big block doesn't strip the spokes.
Thanks again for your hint of this radio on the German E-bay as I would have never found it there.
