I saw you posting for 3.70 gears, so I'm guessing that's what your up too. That's cool if you don't do much highway driving, seems like you would be pushing 3000 rpm at 60 mph.

Maybe you don't do much highway crusing though or you don't mind running high rpm?

Well I like to do both and I am worried a 3:70 may be too steep for any trip of any length

For work a couple of time took my vet to a remote plant that was over 2 hours each way.:D Drove it at 70 mph which spun around 3000 rpm the most of the way, I have 3.36 gears. That would be harder to do with the 3.70 gears.

I want the 3.70 gears so bad too, but I love to run on the highway also. Someday going to get a 700r I guess.

To be honest with you, I'd wait until you get the 700r before you put the gears in since you're planning on getting it. The higher RPM's on the freeway will reduce how long the engine is going to last. That's just if it was me though.
