Wow, those are some big (2279 x 1175) and fuzzy pics. Can you reduce them to about 800 pixs?

No clue what the brackets are, but are these pics better?

Hey Tex,
Per your part number and a GM parts book those are the front bumper brackets for a 88-93 Chevy pickup.

Too long of a part # for 1969.

Hope that helps,

What's the prize????

Unfreakin believable!
Now I'm **really** embarrassed...

DaBo, you nailed it. The blood drained out of my head when I read your post and realized that those brackets *are* off my 1988 Chevy 2500. I took those off when I put the plow on and they must've gotten mixed in with the Corvette parts somehow. Without thinking twice about them, they got the full restoration treatment along with all the real Corvette parts!!

I cannot thank all of you enough, especially DaBo, since I have been going absolutely crazy trying to figure out how I could have missed such a beefy bracket on the Corvette!! I only hope I can repay the favor in the future...

I did think twice about posting the answer to save the embarrassment.

I guess this is your official welcome to the Corvette Forum :conehead Club.

We have all done it, yours truly included.

We just take turn.

Look at it this way, you've made the first step at restoring that truck :yesnod:

Good luck with the 69'.

David
