Jetting, timing guidance info requested.....Lars?
Engine was dropped off at the shop today. The old L-48 will be rebuilt to a 355 with a whole new balnced rotating assembly, ported Performer RPM heads and an XE268 cam.
My questions are:
1. Timing, was running 36 centrifugal all in by 2800 or so with additional 16 vacuum. Stay the same or drop it to 34 or even 32 centrifugal?
2. Jetting for the Q-Jet. Running a 74/47 combo with the setup in the sig. Thinking of a 74/46 combo but that will only richen part throttle or maybe a 75/48 combo to richen both up a little. Not sure I want to go all the way to a 76/49 combo.
Any info appreciated.
BTW: Lars you can have any left over rods or jets when I pass through Denver this summer.

You might have to wait until this evening, I don't think Lars has web access from work.
