[side pipes] It sucks being on a budget
I found these on e-bay.

It seems like a great buy. I wish I had a few extra $100 bills laying around because I would ****** these up in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I saw those, too. I expect they're going to go for more than they're worth--I've been looking for sidepipes on ebay for a couple months now, and hooker headers and pipes always get a lot of bids. Those look kid of rough and rusty to me. I do wonder if there would be a fit problem for a C3 as well, since they came off of a midyear.

Lets see... Right now they are at $202.50. 20 nickels in a dollar. 4050 bottles would get me there, minus the ~$30 I might be able to win in the 50/50...... OK so I am looking at about 3500 bottles....

John, I've got a set of 1 5/8" Flowtech headers if your interested. I'm trying to remember if I used them one or two summers before switching to my Hookers. Let me know. You wouldn't have to find as many bottles and we could work within that budget. Rod :cheers:

JohnS_77. I bought a new set last fall from Summit at $750.00. (black) Put in another $750.00 for show quality chrome. The $275.00 is not a bad price, but the mufflers are not worth beans. Can't tell whether they are glass packs or reverse flows, but...... JCL :cool: :cool: :chevy "Sidepipes are the way"
