question on checking mounts.

question on checking mounts.
I was told to check the following
engine mounts
tranny mount
diff mount
driveshaft joitns
halfshaft joints.
differential carrier locators
but i am new to all of this and i only know how to check the engine mounts..thanks for the help.

up on a hoist would be nice but get under the car, do a visual check cracks,oil damage etc. then get a good pry bar and start pulling to check for movement
