Does anybody have GM part #'s for shocks?
I am looking to replace my old red-ryders on my vette. I wanted to replace them with the Delco Reactec (sp?) shocks. I have a 1970 LS5 Coupe. Does anybody have those numbers handy?
Thanks in advance?

Here are the numbers for the Reactek shocks. I do not recall which is front and which is back. The AC Delco dealer can advise.

I photo-document many of my C3 adventures for Forum members. Unfortunately I lost most of my pics when Photopoint went down. I hope to recover them some day. Glad to be of assistance.

I put on a set last fall and I really like them. Got them from ZIP on sale for like $95/set when they had the free shipping deal.

Are these the ones which are pretty close (configuration wise) to the original shocks? I recall hearing about one brand which one just needed to paint that grey shade to get pretty close to NCRS specs. Thanks, ~Juliet

Juliet,
Them is the ones! Supposed to look almost identical to the originals after painting and applying the appropriate tags. They are really nice shocks, not Billstines or the other high dollar shocks, but much better than the parts store shocks. Makes a C-3 ride like a C-3.
Just to be sure, check with Chuck Gongloff over on the Factory Correct Forum, it was either him or Joe Lucia that told me about them. I got mine last spring and have been very pleased/

Yep...I asked last year and Joe Lucia suggested these shocks, provided part numbers and even told me the exact paint to get. Of course, I forgot it.
