Anyone ever see French locks for header bolts?

Default Anyone ever see French locks for header bolts?

I've seen them for cast iron manifolds. Seems like they would do the trick. (Yeah, I know about the stage 8 bolts).

I've got 'em on my 502 with Hooker headers. I think they're ARP's......

Yes, I've used them in place of Stage-8. or ARP. You will probably need to file down the side that is near the header tube in order to fit the locks, but they work as good as "header bolts" I usually only bend one tab over each bolt head until I'm sure everything is torqued down properly, then I bend the other tab(s).

I use these, T D locking hedder bolts, they look and work great. part#8836 for sb 1-800-843-7836, tech line or 562-921-0404.give them a call. :cool: :smash:
