I can't take all the credit..I have a couple of friends with Vast knowledge and expertise that help me.....I could never do it all by myself and trust me...A Tourqe convertor is NOT and easy Job...But one that is worth it..The headers were Easy however

What are the specs on that cam? Also, what kind of manifold vacuum are you pulling at idle?

I'm considering the swap to headers myself... :smash:

Specs on the Cam:284 Cam .305cam lift .458 Valve lift Adv duration-284 .050 duration -218 .050 timing

do not know the vacum figure...But plenty to work everything and still have a NICE lumpy idle...but not too choppy

Is the idle lumpy enough to have the car start torquing noticibly under idle conditions? By noticibly, I mean if you're sitting in the car, you can feel it rock back in forth in rythm to the bump of the idle, or can see it when standing next to the running car...

Of course..That was the lump I was going for..it is not a violent rock but it let's you know it is not stock... :yesnod:

About how much distance would you gauge that car bumps? Sorry to get off topic, but you're helping me define constraints for the size of the cam in my block...

And I really really do want headers, so I'll be really interested in your "tutorial" if you make one...I just need the cash-ola.

It bumps more when the car is in gear...In park it is not as lumpy but you can still see the car rock a bit..It is perfect amount in my opinion..I really like the cam especailly with the new stall...it is also amazing thru the power band...as a 351 kit cobra can attest to yesterday!! :D
