Distributor tilting on Drivers side by at least ¼ inch
As you can see I am getting to the end of my projects. One thing I noticed the HEI distributor is tilting towards the drivers side by at least ¼ inch I check the cap coil etc and the distributor is inserted all the way at the intake manifold. “Is this normal”

If its down in the block all the way I dont see how it could be wrong. What ever your seeing it must be correct. As long as the shaft or housing isnt bent.

Look at a intake manifold in a speed shop and you will see that the hole for the distrubutor is NOT machine straight down. The flange is machined on an angle. This is normal. I worried about this a few years ago but after checking numerous intakes at the speed shop they are all machined on a angle.
