Just got my rear bumpers back, wow! :cool: they look like new. They were really pitted, some chrome was peeling and their were dings. Factory perfect now and they are the original ones! $180.00

That sounds like a good price if they were triple plated. I was quoted an average price of $250 for triple show chrome. I don't know what if any the "show" plating is vs the regular plating? But at $500 for the rears and 280 for the front plus $200 for the bumperettes $1k for plating :eek:

Sory I didn't provide more info. First off, $180.00 for both. 2nd, Adams Plating in Lansing Michigan (small family owned business). I'm sure you guys could UPS yours to them, call them and check (517) 321-8239. I don't need to send pictures, imagine what new bumpers look like, that's them, honest. 3rd, the shop wrote up the order specifying "show finish" whatever that means. They truly have a mirror finish.

Thanks for the tip!! I've been looking for a plating shop that does good work for a reasonable price. The shops around the Detroit area are too expen$ive.
I was considering sending my bumpers out of state, but Lansing's just 45 mins away from me. I'll give them a shout.
