Default Need a cam and intake for a daily driver 383

A friend decided to convert his '86 Z51 coupe to a carb. I'm not sure if I'll run a single or dual plane intake. I'll probably go with a single b/c the abundance of torque with the 383 and 1 5/8 headers. I'm looking for 450hp-500hp out of this motor....I'm looking for a low profile intake to fit under the stock hood. Ant reccomendation on a cam for a making 450-500hp for a DAILY DRIVER???
Thanks
:D

Looking at a local engine builder who offers a 450 HP 383 using the Comp 286H cam and a Performer RPM manifold and Performer RPM heads. Good heads will be absolutely key to making the power you want. I am looking at the same combo but with an XE274 cam that shortens the intake side slightly. Dyno 2000 says this will bump up the low end torque plus I am stuck with the Performer for now due to the hood clearance issue. (Plus I have it already)
