[pic] Chrome colored wire wrap
I took this at a car show today. They wire covers look almost like chrome. What do you think? I think it is a little much.

I'd say a little much in that application. I think they would probably look really good in an engine compartment of a silver or gray car if you just did the wiring and not everything in the tubing, the wiper assemblies in the pic deffinitly pushed it too far :U

Looks shiny to me, but not very professional either.
Seems like the wipers are also done with this plastic chrome wrap......
Well, but if the owner likes it - why not? :yesnod:

Cheeeeeeeeeeeesy! :U
Don't cover stuff, replace the dull hoses and lines with stainless steel lines or colored vacuum hose. If you want a custom engine compartment, spend the time refinishing or replacing the actual parts, not covering them with cheap hose. Red73's Vette comes to mind. Everthing in his engine compartment has been replaced with new or refinished properly, not covered up . . .
That's why my hood is closed in my signature, nothing special to show ya. :D
Just my opinion.

All I can say is to each his own. I wouldn`t personally do that. But it is flashy.

i think the goal is to hide the hoses and wires... and show off the chrome... not show off your chromed wires and hoses  i kinda like it, but theres to much there

I think it's too much as well. Kinda reminds me of that plastic chrome spiral wire covering JCWhitney used to sell.
