Bondo on inside of front fenders?
This may be a dumb question, but Bubba has been into my car so much.
Did the factory use bondo on the inside of the front fenders of a 79? Seems to be at the seams. Thanks Jim

I dont know exactly what you mean by inside of the front fenders, but the material used to bond the fenders together was a form of "bondo". Bondo is actually a brand name. The material is a polyester based puddy that is like the product known as bondo, but a little better stuff. This material does show under the fenders near the seams and around the perimeter or the innerfenders where it is typically rather thick.

JVM,
If you click on the link in my signature, you will find pictures of the painting job that I had done last spring. In there, there is a couple of pictures that show the "factory Bondo" that I found under the original paint that I had media blasted off. Blew my mind to see bondo on the car already, but the paint shop said that was typical and was used to fill the body seems.
