You'd think with what they've got at stake in the sale that they could have used a little bit better digital camera. Reserve must be $75k or better. 67's are THE Vette to own for investments. I've seen numerous 67's for sale by Pro Team for well over $100k. A little too rich for my wallet. Hell, I could buy 5 perfect C3's for that kind of dough.

This car has been up for sale before, so there must still be no takers.

If I was rich and had that kind of disposable income I'd jump on it :yesnod:
I would rather the 435hp motor for that kinda cash

I'm guessing the pictures were photochopped, because they're not *quite* realistic. But still nice looking! :smash:

Darn!! I'd love to get it but I just spent all my money on a bridge in London.

I have an idea! Why don't all c-3 forum members chip in and we can take turns beating the $%ll out or it. The downside would be we would have to move over to the OTHER forum.

Hey fellas what makes it even worse is the ad says "412 miles since, i repeat since restoration" probably has 100000 + just like every other one.

That's really good money for a 390 hp convertible.
If I was serious about selling it, I'd be contacting the last bidder... Assuming that any of the bidders were legitimate...

Hi,
I just saw most of the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction on Speedvision and they had 5 or 6 C2's. A 427/435 1967 vert sold for just over $72000 so the guy on EBAY is asking quite a bit...or maybe the guy who sold his vette at the Barrett-Jackson auction got screwed  . The top selling car today (the second of 4 days) was a 1967 Yenko Camaro SS....it sold for a whopping $110,000!!! Although most of the juicy European cars (like Ferraris) will be on tomorrow, it's nice to know that muscle cars were really raking in the money.

An interesting factoid - according to the Black Book that's
the last one made in June '67. Really late in the year...

Interesting. I have a car that was built around 200 units later, on July 5, and also is a Marlboro Maroon 390 horse convertible.

Pretty impressive, but I don’t understand the reasoning... Damn good historical reference, to say the least.
