Though I think Vette wagons look like Vega wagons,
I LOVE the 53 Vette Nomad. How can you not like the original concept car of what would become the classic and beloved 55-57 Chevy Nomad. That ride is way cool! But I have a couple of tri-5's and a Vette, so I am partial to that blend.

The 72 is real ugly, the others C3 wagons are half way o.k. although I wouldn't want one. First time ive seen a C2 wagon. Thats a shame what some people will do to a great car.

The C1 looks like a real wagon. The C3s are stupid with the gas tank in the same place. What is in the back of the C3s a little shelf?

My jaw dropped when a C3 wagon pulled into our local gas station out here last summer. Couldn't stop staring, shaking my head. It was an older couple, and they had the back pretty well stocked with travel gear. The gas door had been relocated to the right rear fender.

The wagon part was similar to the compartment on any compact wagon; not huge but useful...

i like the 53 only cuz of the nomad appeal.. if i was to own a wagon, it would be either a tri 5 or a 53 vette with the nomad back. but the mid year and those C3s look pittyful. the C4 looks even worse

I remember reading this guy's story a while back. "Sheldon's big adventure". I recommend it, very compelling and entertaining story. It is very touching to read how special he thinks a vette wagon is! :rolleyes:

The ones at the bottom the 54 nomad/corvette actually has class to it. Pry cause it was a factory car/concept. Others I don't care for.

I read sheldon's adventure too.... It's Hillarious... He cought his car on fire b/c of a rag in the engine bay? The brakes didn't work so he put the car in reverse, before hitting the fence.... LOLOLOL now it's for sale... hmmm how long is that gonna take :D

Good god.. someone put those cars out of their misery! I used to think that sex, drugs and rock and role were the downfalls of society... now I can "corvette-wagon owners" to the list :eek: Actually, sex, drugs and rock and role are great... you do the math.

Saw this little beauty in Fla. last month. Think it's a Greenwood Conversion. If any one has ever done glass work on a vette you know how much work goes into these projects. Kinda feel sorry for these err...Vettes. Here's a pic........

I dunno. Some of them are pretty cool. If someone wanted to get into the Kustom thing this would be a pretty good way to go compared to some of the other stuff I've seen.

I've always kind of liked the '53 Nomad and the "Corvair" styling exercise(s), too.
