Default Painting Kickpanels

I am repainting my kick panels and I am having problems with the primer showing through in area's. I have done the following:

Cleaned & rinsed with a soap and a brush
Cleaned with Eastwood Pre-Paint
Sprayed with Eastwood Self- Etching primer
Sprayed with Interior Paint from Ecklers (Oxblood)

What am I doing wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe the problem is the using the "Self-Etching" primer under the interior paint. Note what Eckler's has to say about what primer to use.

I used ecklers paint and there primer they recomended and mine came out mint. I think the key here is cleanliness, you have to remember most people at one time or another have used some sort of armor all on parts like that.
