Bilstein suspension worth the money?
Saw these in the mid-america catalog. They a kinda pricey...can anyone comment on if they are worth the cost or not? Or could you recommend some other shocks that are almost as good for less?
Thanks everyone :seeya

Re: Bilstein suspension worth the money? (Yellow75)
I haven't tried a new set of bilsteins, My step-fathers 86 Z-51 came equipped with them and they worked ok, I put on a set of Edelbrock IAS's on it two years ago and like them even better, ride quality is about the same maybe a little stiffer but does feel more controllable in the corners. The IAS's are now supposedly out for the C3's, I believe I'll get a set for my 73 since I've been so happy with how they are on the 86, they are pricey though I think they are like 89.99 each but I may be wrong.

You are talking about just the shocks?
If so I've had them about a year and a half. Nice ride. Not to soft and not squishy. I'm running 550 coils in front and a HD 7 leaf rear.
