Low Profile Floor Jack?
Anyone know a source for a very low profile floor jack (other than the $600 racing aluminum units)? I need one that goes to 3" when lowered to get it under my car. I already took the wheels off of one of my jacks which helps, but I still have to "lift up" on the frame to slide it under.
Thanks - Greg

Yeah, but it's hard to do when it doesn't run. Something about pushing it up hill that make it harder :D

i got one from sam's club several years ago; don't know if they still have them or not. another thing that helps is getting the black plastic ramps rated 12,000 lbs. they even clear my saab 9000 turbo spoiler!

NAPA sells a very nice one, 3 3/4" high at lowest point. I think it is made by Lincoln. Not cheap, about $300. :)
