If you right click on the Xs and copy the properties into the browser you can view the photos.

They look great. Are the silver pieces in the first photo painted or did they buff up to that color?

I dont get it.... Some times the pics show for me and sometimes they dont! Right now they are working!!!??? Anyway, If you want to see the pics they are stored on Webshots at... http://community.webshots.com/album/28669357njKdddpZSU

Nothing in those pics was really silver with the exception of the headlight buckets themselves (along with the healight bezels). I used eastwoods aluma-blast, Eastwoods cad coat system (for the actuators) and some rusteolum spraypaint to give everything a clean, finished look. Why I dunno - like I said no one will ever see tem but it's nice to know they look nice!

Mike-

The cad coat on your actuators looks really good in the pics - does it really look that good in person??? (I've been thinking about trying it.) Thanks,

The Cad Coat works well but it takes some practice. The first couple of things I did turned out like crap, but if you take your time and try to keep the paint mist as fine as possiable, and use thin, light coats it comes out pretty good. Give it a shot. I think it was worh the 36 bucks or what ever it was. :yesnod:

Just practice on a couple of other items before tackleing something permanat!

Mike they look real good. How does Donna like them on the carpet. They look so good you won't want to put them back in. Its a shame you won't see all your work when installed

Donna is going to kill me if we do not get a garage soon! Hell she's even actively looking now. We are only looking at places with 2 car garages or better - an additional workshop is prefered!:smash:

BTW...Keep this in mind if I ever turn up missing in the middle of a big project will ya???

When I was looking for a house those were 2 absolute things, a 2 car garage and a basement. Very useful. I live in both of them
