C4 guy needs C3 help!!!!!
Hey guys....need your help!!!!! :yesnod:
Friend of mine has a 74 Stingray, 350, T-Top, Silver on Silver, Auto, Etc......
My question is this......where is the build sheet and RPO #'s on this car...we need to see if it is a # matching car before he buys. Where are the numbers on the block....ETC ETC.......

the build sheet, if its there, would typically be above the gas tank. Another place is in the seat springs, another is between the tach and speedo behind the dash(sometimes more then 1 place).
As for the numbers, the VIN is on the drivers side window pillar, viewed through the front window(as Im sure you know). And in the drivers side door jamb are your interior and exterior color codes. get the numbers and post here and someone can desypher them.
As for the engine block number, I think THINK its on the drivers side of the block, but Im probably wrong. Try to check the rear end housing, and the tranny as well(if possible).

Found my build sheet in the rear compartment under the carpet and under some piece of cardboard or something :)

The engine # is on the passenger side. Front of engine on a pad next to the water pump. The last 5 digits will match the last 5 digits of the vin # if it is the original engine. There will ,also, be a suffix # there. A 3 digit letter. That will tell the type of engine.
