It's really depressing. I'm still amazed at the amount of people in this day and age who refuse to get rid of such a project to an interested buyer. The sad part is that the majority of the cars on that page are going to rot away into nothing because the owner will never do anything with the cars and won't sell them. :mad

That reminds me of my brother inlaws barn. He has 5 '69 Ford Torinos sitting and rotting. One of them is a Nascar Version, a Ford Taledaga which is Fords version of the Chryslers Superbird and Daytona from '69. They only made 749 of them! I hurts to see them when ever I go over there. They have been sitting since the late '70's. I remember when they where in great shape, needing only mechanical repairs.

Very sad indeed. I would have loved to found that black C1 to create a C1/C4 hybrid "driver".

Wonder if the C3 was towing that trailer with it :D He would need a mega-super-HD rear spring for sure.

That C1 is really heartbreaking! :nonod: What a spectacular car to be in that kind of a condition. The least the owner could do is let it rot in a garage. I mean, out in an open field, come on now. :bs

I would like to talk to all those people so perhaps I’d finally understand why they want to allow a car to rot away in their yard when they could sell it for about what their house if worth... :mad

Not surprising really, a 66 ish Mustang genuine Cobra Pack GT with all badges and engine and such ,...fastback, forrest green sat outside in my old neighbors's house under a backyard oak tree for 25 year or more...
he parked the car when his wife left.....
when pulled out of the backyard...it was worth about 500 bucks...or so...
came apart, original frozen engine and all, hood buckled upon closing...
junk....
