Default At the Machine Shop

I dropped my block and heads off at the machine shop today.
Doing:
Bore & Hone
Deck (0)
Align Hone
Cam Bearings
Resize Rods
Balance Assem
Pin Fit Pistons

I'm also going to have them do the heads, go to 2.19/1.88 valves and do a 3-angle valve job. I told them to hold off until I can find out more about what I need to do with the valve guides.

Ouch! Expensive!

But it sure will be fun.

I'm going through the same thing right now! You are correct it is a bunch of fun. Were you going to have the block hot tanked? 2.19/1.88 valves are definetly the way to go.

bence: Yes I'm going to have it hot tanked. Then I can paint it black (Chevy Orange SUX!) and paint my heads midnight blue.

Awwwww yeah!
