Secondaries opening -- how to tell?
What are different ways of knowing when and how far your vacuum secondaries are opening up? I know the old paper clip on the rod trick but I was wondering if there's any tricks on being able to tell while you're driving?

Drive with no hood and air cleaner? ...And a mirror mounted to see in the throats??? :jester
That's probably not safe, but it's an idea... :blueangel:

Instead of a mirror find one of the local neigbor kids, not yours, to sit in the engine bay and hit the highway. Tell him you'll give him/her a cookie for helping you out.
