Default New starter, alternator and battery.

Before I put my 75 away for winter it was having trouble starting after it sat for a while, and even after running it never seemed to hold a charge...then it started not working even when I tried jump starting.

How much should all these parts run me? And do you think I could pick them up from autozone?

Thanks all.

Default Re: New starter, alternator and battery. (Yellow75)

battery maybe 60 - 70 dollars as for starter and alternator there is a book not sure of name but it tells you about different parts for vettes that you can use off off other cars of that time frame ex. might be able to use a starter from a 74 firebird etc. could save a lot of money not buying parts from the catalogs starters and alternators you can also go rebuilt
