Detailing Aluminum Intake
I pulled my intake to fix some leaks and want to detail it. Lars is going to do my carb so I want
it to look nice. It is an aluminum Edlebrock Performer. The previous owner painted it. My options are to repaint
it or go back to the natural aluminum finish. If I go natural, I am considering having it bead blaster to strip the
paint. Anybody done this before or have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Detailing Aluminum Intake (John's Shark)
John search for the post written by 73 Teach's Pet. There are numerous suggestions on removing oxidation from aluminum intake. It was just discussed on Friday.
but, the short of the long is to have it bead blasted and clear coated.
