I have had my 77 home now for about 2 weeks. So, this morning Im out just checking some electrical stull....and I get to the wipers. But wait...where is that wiper switch. Thought on a 77 it was on the turn signal...but not there...just a regular turn signal lever. Its not on the dash. This has to be a bubba job. So...anyone have a tuen signal lever that has a wiper control on it they dont need anymore...let me know. If not...its off to the local junk yard. Makes you wonder what else I have missed! LOL

Nope. Nothing there. Not even a hole where it might have been. The onle switches on the console are the rear window defroster, fan and heat controls and the power windows. Believe me, I did some contorsions looking for that switch.

HAHAHA. :lol: That reminds me. After my frame off I drove the vette for a couple of months, then was going on a fairly long drive with it one day, and decided to look it over to make sure everything works. The wipers didn't, and I never even knew it for a couple of months. :D I guess that shows that I only drive it in good weather, huh. :)

77 is the only yr. to have it on the turn signal lever besides C5. Normally twist, try that since the switch itself is in the column.

I put mine back on the dash where it belongs & the dimmer switch where it belongs ! :cool:

It was a lot easier than upgrading a 70-74 to a 77. :cool:

Nope. The turn signal does not rotate. I think the bone head replaced it with an older model and then did something with the wires. I WILL figure this out. Have it ready by spring.

You are correct.. the wiper switch is supposed to be in the turn signal lever, where the heck is yours :confused: My lever pops out of the column pretty easy if I twist it hard enough, so maybe that's what happened to the previous owner. You could try Gary Gruhala at Gruhala Industries for the part. He always has this kind of "original" stuff laying around. I'm not at home now, so maybe someone else could provide the link you.
