Default How do magazines measure width?...

I was just wondering how magazines and other places measure a car's width?...Is it from mirror to mirror or just does that exclude the mirros?...I have always noticed that the C5 is an incredible 4.6 inches wider than a C3 and was just wondering if it's the C5's wide body or is some of the difference from the C5's bigger mirrors sticking out further?...Any idea?...

:)

Probably a long ruler........... :p:

Anyway, ever notice how the widest part of a C3 is NOT the mirrors? The fenders are wider by a substantial margin.
