My '78 has a non-stock quadrajet #17059230 BYS 1958, yes I checked numbers twice. My question is, this carb has both an electric wire someone scotchlocked off of the alternator to drive it and has tubes from intake and off the top off the carb running thru it . Ok what is it an electric choke or hot air type? I'm going to switch intakes if I go with an "airgap" manifold they have no hookup for the hot air type choke correct?
