The Silver '68 Coupe I got for $2600 I was complete minus longblock. Came with intake, carb, alt, starter-everything minus longblock. Bought a 327/300hp out of a wrecked 29,000mi 1969 Caprice. Needed alot of work, but being 18 and cruisin' a Corvette was one hell of a feeling!!! :cool:

The 1967 Chevelle SS 396 was a true L-78 396/375hp car. One of only 612 375hp '67 Chevelles. It was Marina Blue Black bench seat 4spd, M20, wth 3.36:1 gears. She'd practically fry the tires for as long as you held the gas pedal down!!! She could also do those neat "rolling smokes" with ease!!!

What a great feeling being 18, in high school and have these two rides!!! It was awesome. :yesnod: "Smoke 'em if you got 'em!!!"

Nice Paul. BTW, there's a same year 396 SS Chevell on a lot near me. Guy wants $10,000, I think it has 54,000 miles, headers, auto....I didn't drive it but it looked nice if you're interested.

Nice looking cars,Paul. By the way, thanks for the info last week on the medium saddle '75 coupe stored out by Doctor's hospital. That lady had a two tone blue '80 or 81 vintage car too. There's also a '74 Corvette Gray roadster driving around the east side of Massillon (even in the snow) whos owner parks it outside an apartment across from Holland Pontiac. It makes me cringe every time I see it out in bad weather, but at least her car is on the road. I hope to have mine out in time for the Cruise in. By the way, 68350HP is my son, and MF64VETTE is my sister.
