Default Distributor Recommendations

I need to replace mine since it is dying a slow agonizing death (mostly for me).

Anyway from researching the CF archives the MSD Ignition Control
Corvette Tach Drive PN 8572 seems to be the favored choice. Is this a pointless distributor or electronic? I already have the msd ignition so that is not an issue. Has anyone found it for less than $286?

If it does have points does anyone have any recommendations for a pointless dist?

Oh yeah - I need a tac drive too.

As always, thanks in advance.

Excellent - now all I need is $286+tax+shipping+etc. ;)
Did you have a noticeable performance increase?

I agree with Pat...and I don't have quite the monster engine...but she does pull hard, especially above 3,000...all the way to the 6000 rev limiter installed on the MSD.

If you had to buy an ignition box, which would you buy: MSD6AL or MSD Digital 6?

New distribtor is installed and performing beautifully. I also went ahead and replaced the coil with a MSD Blaster while I was at it.

Thanks for the replies - you saved me alot of time researching.

Now for some headers :jester
