GS-2 Tires
I am replacing my Supercar tires on my Z51 with Goodyear GS-2's at 18.4k miles. Most of those miles were freeway, but i've been holding off on tires, and they're running low now so I am making the switch next week or week after.
Too bad Firestone Wideoval's are still sold out or I would order them. Nearby firestone said they can get it but charge an extra $300 to get it shipped cross country, =( so I figured might as well get the GY.
My question is what type of mileage people are seeing in the GS-2's? I know its different for everyone but I am just trying to find a ballpark, kinda like how the SC's were about 6-12k. I am hoping the GS-2's last at least 20-30k. So if anyone could chime in with mileage on their GS-2s and driving habits, would be greatly appreciated!

Safety Car
Moderately aggressive driving. (No Burn-outs) seen here at 11K miles. Aligned to spec at 6500 miles. Forged wheels, Bilstein shocks.
Looks like these will go 30K at this rate..

Did you know Goodyear does not make tire for F1 racing anymore (not sure about racing in general). Call me crazy, but I want a tire made by someone in the know. You won`t catch me putting Goodyears on any time soon. IMO

I just replaced the GS2s on my '05 with F55 at 30K. Mostly 2-lane windy roads where I live. Never raced and no burn-outs. The fronts were worn on the insides due to lack of frequent alignments. The rears look like they would go another 5-10K. I'm actually going to sell them to someone for 150.00.

About the same here. With 30,000 miles one of my fronts is worn down on the inside due to bad alignment for awhile....the other front looks to have at least another 5,000 left (I may get 5,000 out of both).
Both rears were replaced between 5,000 and 10,000 miles due to non-repairable punctures. Both of them look to have at least 10-15,000 miles remaining.

If you are seriously auto-crossing or otherwise racing the car, I would not recommend them, but for all-around street use I am very happy with them. Keep in mind, though, that the handling performance I am experiencing is probably due in part to the F55 suspension. I have no idea how these tires perform with the Z51. They are standard equipment with the base suspension and should also work well there.

Drifting
GS-2's... First set 36k on fronts, 40 k on rears.... 2nd set 34,000 on fronts, 44,000 on rears. Check pressure regularly (set at 31psi) and 4 wheel alignment at each tire change...Also still on original brake pads at 84k miles .... 05 mn6 f55 9

The Firestones are less expensive and everyone here who has them seems to be pleased with them....In a big town like San Diego, I would probably try some other places to see if you can get them...

I see you know nothing about racing and Goodyear tires.

You're crazy
The only tire manufacturer in Formula 1 is Bridgestone. Are all other tire manufacturers not "in the know?"
