FT: 98 Viper GTS/Red/26k miles/immaculate
I bought this car about 3 months ago. I have decided to get a 2nd Z06 instead for use exclusively at the track. So I would consider trading it in towards an 06-08 Z06s.
I would consider any color except black (been there, done that). Now, to the specs of the Viper:
* Car: 1998 Viper GTS
* Mileage: 26,300 miles
* Condition: ridiculoulsly immaculate
* Exterior: Red (9.8/10). The car is in almost perfect condition. Keep in mind that it is 10 years old, however, there are no scuffs, scratches, swirl marks, etc...the only reason why I can't give it 10/10 is because it is not brand new...it does look however, BETTER than a new car - I a not exaggerating a bit. The paint looks better than my 2008 Z06. If you are familiar with GTS's, you will know that the doors panels are NOT smooth...they have quite a bit of imperfections. Not anymore. Doors were taken out, sanded down and repainted as well as the front bumper due to previous door chips. This is one of the reason why the car looks better than a new one. The car comes with 2 booklets with EVERY SINGLE receipt, paperwork, etc....
- 18" Chrome Wheels out of a 2001 GTS (no nicks, scratches or scuffs).
- Stock wheels have 275/335 Michellin Pilots with about 90% tread left
- A second set of 17" wheels/tires: Race CCW's with V700's 315/335's -with 99% tread...tires are brand new but driven around the block a couple of times
- Chromed Gas cap
- Front chin spoiler aluminum saver
- Chromed Viper and Viper GTS badges on sides and on back
- HID's on headlamps and foglamps
- Polished cross brace in the engine compartment
- Color matching tow hooks installed
* Interior: Black (9.5/10). Again...the car is in extremely good shape but it is 10 years old. That being said, you can tell the car has been sat in...there are no wear or tear marks.
- 6 point Team tech Harness on both seats and with Viper logoed covers
- 20% tint on rear window and 35% on sides
- Twin JL Audio amplifier 9-speaker system
- MB Quart door speakers and rear speakers
- JL Audio 10" W3 subwoofer (and yes, the spare tire is still usable)
- Alpine head unit, 6-disc changer w/MP3's, and XM receiver
- JL Audio 300/4 and 250/1 subwoofer amp
- Hardwired Valentine 1 (concealed display included but not installed
* Performance (423rwhp / 472lbs.tq):
- Upgraded plug wires w/ spark plug socks
- Chrome smooth intake tubes with K&N filters
- Muffler delete
- Radiator cap
- All fluids changed 1,000 miles ago
- Brakes changed 1,000 ago
* Extras:
- Powder coated motor cover
- Non-smoker
- Always stored in a climate-controlled garage
- Owners manual and unopened VHS owners introduction tape
- Original window sticker
- No leaks, no overheat issues, nothing!
- Hardwired Deltran Battery Tender Plus with remote connection
- Custom Viper seatbelt pads for the regular seat belts
- Viper embroided floormats
- ZAF pedal covers
- Red Viper key (instead of black) along with 2 extra key fobs (3 total)
- New "Fangs" emblem on the front fascia

So close...so tempting...must log off now and consider the repercussions of such a purchase...
Great looking car. A track car would sure come in handy at the KS Speedway road course!

I honestly can't afford to pick up a second toy so I don't want to waste your time, but do you by any chance have any pictures of that car with the CCWs on? I imagine it must look AWESOME with those!
