I need advice/experience. Has anyone changed over manual locks on a 1981 to power locks?? If so, where do i get the conversion and how good did they work?? Can I instal power locks with a remote button. Any info would be great!!! Thanks,,, :cool:

Some time back, one of the guys found some actuators and provided some pictures of his electric lock conversion. I don't know if the early C-3s and the later C-3s had the same kind of locking mechanism, but I think he did the conversion very cheaply and with no real modifications.
I know that Juliet was interested in it and he posted pictures and part numbers of his conversion.
I thought that I had saved the pictures, but I can't locate them now. Maybe if you search the archives something might show up.

I started a post on the same topic... check it out, and we can figure things out together... Does your car have power windows ? Cause if you already have wiring from the car into the doors it should be a little easier to install.
