I have some questions about the L88 hood for use on my 76
I don´t want to buy the complete hood, I´d rather like to buy only the raised part with the air inlet and bond it to my original hood.
If you know a 76 hood, than you now that it has a higher section in the middle which is starting a few inch after the front edge.
Here my question:
Does the original L88 section cover the whole raised section of my hood?
Anybody made this mod on a 76 hood?
Thanks for infos

I can't speak definitively on the 76 hood , but I can tell you all scoops are not created equal.
I bought a generic L-88 scoop from one of the well know fiberglass part manufactures and to make it fit the contours of my stock 72 hood would have been a nightmare.
I sent it back and got one from Eckler at about 4 times the price of the "cheapy" but it fit the hood very well and needed minimum effort to mold.
