Plastic Wiper Cover
Just purchased one of these and started to install. Instructions fairly simple but not happy with the fit. Has anyone installed one of these successfully. The only way that I can see that it would even come close to fitting properly would be to remove the rest stop for the wipers. By doing this, will it cause any problems. Would like to hear from anyone that has installed one of these things.
Thanks
Thanks

I had a similar problem with one ordered awhile back - I also had to cut the piece that created the opening for the wiper arm - where it butt against the glass - then the crank from the wiper motor hit it -
I sent it back - havent tried since

I put one on my car but also cut out a small ractangle hole to allow the wire like wiper stop to come thru :yesnod: and also put a couple of small screws to hold it in place works great :D

Re: Plastic Wiper Cover (Vettesic)
Just finished the installation. Cut a slot in it for the wiper stop and used screws to hold in place. Looks a 100% better now with that area covered. Thanks for all the replies.
