Need a set of C6 Z06 Brakes. Also Selling 2009 ZR1 Brakes..
I'm in a prediciment..
I need a set of C6 Z06 brakes in the WORST way possible. Our wheels will be done VERY VERY shortly, and we set them up based on these brakes..
I know I can get them new from Gene Culley, but I was hoping to find someone who is willing to sell their set to me. They do not need to be new. The calipers can also be slightly surface scratched since we're having them powdercoated..
Please let me know what you have.. I do want the rotors in excellant shape.
I am open to anything that "Looks" good, and has been taken care of. I dont know what they are new, but I think their somewhere around 1300-1500 bucks.
Also, I have a set of brand new "In the Box" 2009 ZR1 Brakes, Calipers, pads, and lines. They have never been mounted nor even assembled with the calipers. These are the carbon/ceramic calipers 15.5" front, 15.0" rear. 8 piston front, 6 piston rear, oem pads, and oem upgraded lines..
I am willing to sell them for $5,500.00 FIRM!!!!. This is roughly 50% of dealer cost.. They will not work with our project, so I have ZERO use for them.
So, I will either take your good/great C6 Z06 Brakes, or I will sell my brakes seperate and buy a new set, OR, I will do a partial trade/purchase of your brakes plus $4,000.00. If its the trade/purchase, I will contact a local Corvette Forum vendor in your area and ask that they aid in the transaction. This way, your car is only down for a short period, and all brakes are handled with care.
Please verify through reputable sources that your Z06 will accomodate the new brakes. We were told we would need to swap out the hub/bearig assembly on our car to make it work, which was around 284.00 per corner. I am not sure about your C6 Z though..
Thanks guys..
