Vette Brakes makes the front monospring setup that everyone carries. You can get it directly from them. http://www.vettebrakes.com
I haven't heard anything bad about the front spring setup... some people have problems with the rear monospring, though.

I've had the Vette Brakes front and rear dual mount transverse springs since 1994. I have had no problems - install and forget. I don;t feel it now that I'm used to it, but when I first installed it, it was like night and day. I used to take a certain route with my car when I first got it with the stock system at 35 mph. When I installed the VB front and rear system, I could comfortably take it at 45-50mph. I acknowledge that the original system was 12 years old, and some of the bushings probably needed attention, but it made a real difference. You've got to have the right shocks though. I went throught 3 or 4 differnct types/brands of shocks before I finally stepped up to the HAL/QA1 12 point adjustable shocks. Made a huge improvement.

I agree with Monty - both my SBC and BBC Sharks have monospings front and rear. Will never go back to steel springs!
