Default brocken tack---update

took the tach out this weekend and checked out the back..looked like new,no corosion or rust..i followed all the dist. wires ,cleaned and oiled..basically did all the things sugested but still no tach...whats the next step? replacement?

You'll need to disconnect the speedometer cable under the dash from the rear of the housing, then take out the screws holding the speed/tach housing in the dash. pull out the housing until you can unplug the electrical connection and remove the unit. The circuit board is on the back of the housing. Take a Ohm meter and check all the leads for a broken run.
