With the "through the radiator" fasteners they supply which I have heard is not good. I may fab up some brackets. The ones they supply won't mount on a Vette.

I used their brackets and drilled four holes in the top and bottom of the radiator. Works like a charm!

Done it both ways... did through the radiator on the old stock one and now I have the brackets screwed into the frame of a beautiful new Griffin!

BTW - The Flex did not fit easily onto the Griffin universial 31x19.

Intimidator454 - Do you really run Flexilites with that monster engine??? Dosen't Flexilite recommend 220 hp and under?

I used the Flex-a-Lite brackets. To the radiator support bolts at the top and trimmed the lower brackets to fit the area between the radiator and support.

I used their brackets as well. Took some small modifications to the bottom but that was easy!!!! Very happy with them too!!!!

Same here with mine. Cut and modified their brackets, drilled a hole or two. Easy.

I submitted a "Tech Tip" that included some line drawings of adapters that I came up with to mount the fan to the stock radiator without drilling any holes in the radiator at all. The stock radiator in our '73 has a channel at the top and bottom that I was able to use. The plastic blocks that I used slip into the channel, then the fan bolts to the adapter blocks. E-mail me if you have any questions about the blocks. I'm not sure how well the drawings look within the "Tech Tips" area. My computer isn't the greatest.
