Help tps wire?

I don't know, but I didn't want to try to figure out how to get the wire through the firewall, so I took a signal off the APP (Accelerator Pedal Position) sensor on top of the accelerator pedal for input of throttle position into my Traqmate data-logger.
I don't know what you want to do with the signal, but if the APP will work I'll check and see which wire I'm using.

I think all those schematics and info are for an LS2, but I'm pretty sure all the wiring connectors and colors will be the same on the LS3 sensors and pickups.
Scroll down to SoldSyclone's post#11 for some info on colors of wires you might be looking for on either the TPS or the APP. I used that info to get the throttle position from APP sensor #1 and for the voltages to set up 0% to 100% throttle for my Traqmate, and it worked great!

However, when I set up Traqmate to display throttle position, I had to go into the Traqview software and tell it what I wanted. I took a signal off of APP 1 and told Traqview that I wanted it to display 0% throttle at 1 volt or less, and 100% throttle at 4 volts or greater. So far that seems to give me a pretty good representation of throttle position for analyzing my track sessions, as you can see below:
That strip across the bottom shows RPM, throttle position, and speed. I'm pretty satisfied that the throttle position displayed corresponds pretty well with what my foot is doing.
I don't know how you set up the nitrous to kick in at WOT, but I guess it would be something like I did with Traqmate - you'd tell it WOT is 4 volts or greater (maybe 4.39 v ) so when you see that voltage or greater give me a shot of nitrous!

BTW, I just pulled up my calculator and did some higher math!
Many of the sensors in the car use a 5 volt reference signal.
Like Corpsvette noted, HPTuners and other tuning software displays WOT as 88%, and he said that correlated to 4.39 volts.
For some reason GM seems to have decided to use 4.39 volts to sense WOT.
4.39 divided by 5 = 87.8%, so I imagine that's where the max of 88% comes from in the tuning software.
Butt....as mentioned in my post above, with aftermarket stuff like my data-logger, I can tell it to display position based on whatever voltage I want, and I used 1 volt for 0% and 4 volts for 100%.

On the 2007 diagram is does look like it is the green. My diagram says TP Sensor 1 D GN

I am not an electrical engineer so the diagram is greek to me but I would targer the dark green wire.
