Which vendor gave you satisfactory results on interior trim pcs. ?
I've been fighting my interior install since Thanksgiving. I ordered all new interior trim pcs. and have had to modify almost every pc. and in some cases the car itself to get things to fit. In the end I got everything to fit and look pretty good except the T-top center panel and the two rear roof panels. So if you bought these pcs somewhere and were happy with them...where'd you get them?
Thanks, V

...Re-did the whole interior of my '74 (door panels, carpet, dash, console, gauge panels, glove (map) box) with parts I ordered from Zip Products. Everything fit good, but not always perfect (neither did the original GM), and the quality even better than original in my opinion. Regards,

I got a RH chrome mirror from Zip. High quality and very original. I got the console T cushion and door armrest pads from Al Knoch. Color is real good on the door pieces. The T cushion is a matt finish, while the seat leather (I don't know the source) is gloss. I'll have to hit the cushion with some type of leather enhancer. Suggestions anyone?
The leather shifter boot and the console end pieces were from Corvette America. Very nice in color and quality, but it looks like the end pieces will need holes drilled in them for screw attachment. No template or instructions provided.

None. I have made many purchases of trim pieces over the last few years and the quality has been terrible. I now virtually finished however and the tack I took was to get the original GM parts from salvage yards and refurbish them. Then I will know they will fit. Cleaning and re-dyeing does wonders. Repros have cost me several hundred dollars that went to file 13.

Corvette Accessories of America. Everything didn't fit perfectly but those that didn't were pretty close. I'm not extremely picky about things like that. If its close and I can make it fit, I'm satisfied.

I have always used Zip Products with really good results. i will mention though that as was told to me years ago at a show, " No Two Corvettes are the same" and that was certainly true when I redid my interior four years ago. Damn little fit as it was meant to, and you find you have to tailor each part to whatever side of the car your working on. Why? got me but I never saw two Corvettes quite the same? Go figure!
