okay guys, I'm stuck I want to upgrade my tranmission but I'm not for sure what to do. I have a th350 behind a 454 now. should I switch to a 700r4 or a manule 5 speed? have any of you big block guys done either of these? what was the cost? (if you dont mind me asking). what was the mpg increase like (if any) and what was the preformane like. Would you change any of it or do something differently?

I would go with the 700r.......That 5 speed transfer is a nightmare
